Wyatz 66: The Wyatt Eddy Story

Wyatz66: The Wyatt Eddy Story

The story of teenage brothers Wade and Wyatt Eddy, their love of old cars and how a surfing tragedy has forever bonded their family with an old Ford truck and the organ recipients who now carry Wyatt's story with them.

I came across Wyatt’s story on a Facebook Group for classic Ford truck owners. My first conversation with his mother, Wendy, would set in motion a nearly two year journey to make this film. I was blessed with a crew whose hearts were in it from the beginning and the Eddy Family, who worked tirelessly alongside me despite the weight of their unimaginable grief. WYATZ 66 is our loving tribute to this brilliant, big-for-his-age, kindhearted boy who, through this film, will deeply affect people he had yet to meet. This one got to me - it’s the most important story I will ever tell.
